Global Debate Relocates to Europe for Six Weeks

Global Debate (that means me) will change its base of operations and leave America for six weeks in Europe. The US State Department is flying me over in business class today and I will return on August 15. I want to thank the State Department for their support, along with the USA Embassy in Slovenia, the USA Embassy in Serbia, ZIP Slovenia, Open Communication Serbia as well

NJFL/IDEA Middle Schools Nationals 2010 Results
The eleventh annual National Middle School Forensics Tournament was held June 25-27, 2010 at Dowling Catholic High School and the Des Moines Public Schools, and co-sponsored by the International Debate Education Association (IDEA) and the National Junior Forensic League (NJFL). Attending the tournament were more than 450 students from 45 schools spanning 20 states, and the territory of Saipan.

WUDC - Missing from the List
They sound like a list of institutions that you might have in a worlds final. But they are not. They are a list of extremely successful institutions who ended up on the waitlist for WUDC Botswana.
Everyone knows that WUDC format debating is growing all around the world and that it is getting more difficult to register for worlds each year. Yet, many thought that because the event was in Africa

The USA is the most represented nation in WUDC Botswana. While I did not count all countries, I did not see so many for any except UK which had 32 teams in and 21 on the waitlist.
